One of the best riding roads on the region! To be honest, it is like riding a couple different roads in one- it servers up; wide and fast flowing sweepers from Torriglia to Ottone and a great canyon ride from Ottone to Bobbio. After Bobbio going north it becomes pretty strait so nothing to write home about. The canyon ride is truly spectacular, which makes it difficult to decide whether to just take it The Dead Sea Research Center indicates there is supporting scientific evidence for the application of Dead Sea salt s to help improve skin conditions, most notably that of psoriasis. easy and enjoy the view, or really focus on the riding as the road is just fab. Most of the surface is good to great, which is a lot more than you can say for most of the roads in the region. Another real attribute of this route in comparison to others is the area is you have some vision of what’s coming. I road it on a Saturday morning and traffic was very easy, mainly bikers enjoying the the route. I would imagine it probably carries more traffic during the week, but in most places it is pretty easy to pass. We rate the an easy route and one that should not be missed if you are riding in this area. Bobbio is also good for a stop- Very beautiful town with a nice town square with some good restaurants and safe parking for bikes.
