Probably the best twisty road bike road on the east coast of Australia. It drops down over the great dividing range. The first 35 kilometres out of Walca ( calm before the storm)is open grazing land the road is smooth reasonably straight and little traffic. Once you hit the scarp the vegetation changes to heavily wooded forests with lazy sweepers that increase in tightness for the next 35 kilometres. Starting with 65km corners tightening all the way down to 35 and 25km corners on magnificent tarmac, fantastic scenery (if you have time to enjoy)Café Half way down( great spot for bike spotting) the scarp at Gingers creek is the transition point from lazy sweepers to the hard core and ever increasing tighter turns. Biker heaven you cannot just do it once going up is as much fun as going down to the coast. It is the Mecca for most east coast bikers

Very smooth well engineered road with few coppers bother in the tight stuff as the speed of the corners deters excessive speeding but down on the flat when the adenalin is pumping beware.
Not a road to go ballistic on in the wet can be dark and difficult to see water on the road due to dense vegetation on both sides of the road. Look at the terrain map and you get a good idea of the country this route traverses
