The Col de Saales is a pass the Vosges Mountains , peaking at 554 m. It is used by the linking D 1420 Saint-Die, Joint Department of Vosges , in Schirmeck in the Bas-Rhin .
A fairly main road, but is usually quiet at the weekend. Wide with an incredible number of excellent curves with knee down potential if so inclined. The road follows the windy Bruche River, but you won’t be looking at that! This is an excellent way into and out of the Vosges, and a road worth seeking out.
