The summit of Bagenelles rises to 903 meters above sea level. From the summit, you can enjoy a panorama of the beautiful valleys of the two Liepvrette and Weiss . Near the pass is the Grand Brézouard a summit between Bagenelles, Le Bonhomme , Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines and Aubure .
The summit is a ten minute drive from Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, the D 48 which passes through the hamlet of Echéry. It descends to Le Bonhomme , located 5 km below. Schedule a road, D 148, can reach the ridge road by the col, Raves meadow which rises to 1005 meters.
A major road that's very wide and with another excellent surface. Race track similarities, but legal overtaking is restricted by the solid white line. The road has overtaking lanes in places. Once you do get past the petrol tankers etc, the road has real ton-up potential.
