Glaubenbielen Pass or Glaubenbühl is a 1611 m. mountain pass in the Emmental Alps between the Entlebuch region and the canton of Obwalden.
The pass connects Giswil in Obwalden and Sörenberg in the Entlebuch (canton of Lucerne). It divides the basins of the Kleine Emme and the Sarner Aa, both within the Reuss basin. The pass road has a maximum grade of nbso 12 percent, running along the northern slope of theGiswilerstock (2011 m). It is known as Panoramastrasse, providing a splendid view of Pilatusand the Stanserhorn when travelling towards Giswil, and of the Brienzer Rothorn massif when travelling towards Flühli.
This route has generally good surface, and great views of the Bernese Alps.
This is a fairly narrow road, so we rate this a medium difficulty route.
