What a superb little route this is. This is a road that is not really on the riding map, handed out only by special handshake to only the most deserving of riders. The only way we stumbled upon it was one of our posse had it specially conveyed to him years earlier by a sect of superior beings.   This route does not attract much traffic, ok, that’s a good way to start! No traffic means no or very few police, even better. Great road surface perfectly formed corners- ah, let’s just turn around and do it again. It may not have quite the grandeur of the big Dolomite passes, but it more than makes up for it in every other way.   If you are going to, or coming from, the Dolomite magic circuit (Passo di Gardena, Passo di Stella, Passo di Pordoi , and the Passo Campolongo), this is one of the routes you really want to ride. To top it off, there is also a great little restaurant on the top of the pass. This is an easy ride, but totally enjoyable in every sense of the word.
