Along the Moldau (Vltava) river in the Czech republic. The river is wide and shallow and extremely popular with canoeists. Fast sweepers.
Even years ago it had a surprisingly good surface, it hasn't suffered since and apart from the rare short roadworks the surface is excellent - once you get past Rozmberk, that is.
The town of Cesky Krumlov itself is a beautiful mediavel town - decrepid during the cold war, but beatuifuly resored since, despite the tourists, it hasn't lost its character. Worth a visit.
Keep going on the fairly dull main road past Krumlov for a good beer brewed in Budweis.
