This a yet another nice route from the Valais in Switzerland to the heart of the French alps. This road primarily carries skiers up to the Port du Soleil (the largest linked ski area in the world) in the winter and provides some very nice biking in the summer season. The route and takes you up to the village of Morgins and continues to the border with France. Shortly after the border you reach the pass at 1,369 m, the road has a slope of about 12% and some nice flowing corners on your way down to Chatel. You're in the Rhône-Alpes, passing through Châtel and Abondance, both part of the Port du Soleil .
