Simply one of the best roads in the world and should be on every bikers bucket list. With that in mind, it can carry heaps of tourist traffic including tour buses;-(
Going south; The north of section- Porto to Piana is not fast but the scenery is just superb with the road carved out of the red rock faces the blue sea below.
After Piana the road open up into one of best hill riding roads of the face of the planet.
Great surface and mostly an easy ride, albeit a bit tight and had to pass on the cliff section. The only caveat on this route is that it seems to have a disproportionate number or goat herds- maybe it was just when we were there.
