The weather god was generous and we had an absolutely clear and gorgeous day in Cape Peninsula. My guide and rider was Kevin and his vintage motorcycle was called Vicky. We rode around the periphery of the peninsula in a motorcycle sidecar. We started out of Cape Town, rode along the Atlantic seaboard, through the Table Mountain national park to Cape of Good Hope (the most south-eastern point in Africa) to Cape Point (where Indian ocean meets the Atlantic). We rode to Boulders Beach where African penguins nest and back to Cape Town along the Indian seaboard. One ride of a lifetime.
